About Me
Hello! My name is Daniel, I’m originally from Colombia but I’ve been living in Santa Cruz, California since 2012. I feel very lucky to live here, surrounded by the beach, the mountains, and the majestic redwoods, nature has always been a big inspiration in my life.
I’m a very active and positive person who enjoys connecting with people, learning from different cultures, and giving my best in every project I’m part of.
My Experience & Skills
Hospitality & Customer Service:
I worked at the Hilton in Scotts Valley, California, where I gained experience in customer service, attending guests at the bar and restaurant, and even helping organize small events and activities. I really enjoy creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and making sure guests have a memorable experience.
Arts & Crafts:
I love working with my hands and being creative. I’ve designed and crafted pieces in stained glass and leather, which taught me patience, attention to detail, and the joy of turning ideas into something tangible. You can see some of my work here:

Physical Work & Outdoors:
I really enjoy any kind of task that involves movement and physical activity. I stay active through dancing, working out, and leading a healthy lifestyle. Whether it’s gardening, general maintenance, cleaning, or outdoor projects, I’m always happy to contribute with energy and enthusiasm.
Languages & Communication:
I am bilingual in Spanish and English, which often helps to connect with people from different backgrounds. I enjoy teaching, translating, or simply helping to bridge cultural and language gaps.
Cultural Background:
Being Colombian and living in the U.S. has given me a multicultural perspective. I enjoy sharing my culture (music, dance, food) while being open and curious to learn from others.
