  • Description

hello, good morning or good evening, wherever, whenever this will reach you!:)

my name is emma and I recently finished my bachelor’s degree in psychology and educational science, but beyond academics, i’d say i’m very much a student of life (as cliché as that may sound). at the "wise" age of sixteen, i made the promise to myself to always stay curious and question things. this has somehow formed the way im moving through life. i find great joy in lifelong learning and broadening my perspective in all kinds of directions and seeing how others live, think, and create.

and since i'm a human-being, i am a social being and need company and love having like-minded persons around (also not like-minded, since i do think it is fairly important to confront yourself with different opinions) and doing things together.
i finished my bachelors this summer and now want to learn in a more hands-on, practical way - the reason I am here and writing this.:)

because my mom formerly was working in a travel agency, i had the privilege of getting around a lot in europe during family trips. as i grew older ,i travelled more with friends and loved this more independent way of getting around. now i want to explore on my own and immerse myself in different cultures and contribute wherever i can.

i'm eager to learn new practical skills, help with everyday tasks, and experience life in different communities. whether it’s working outdoors, helping, cooking, or supporting creative or educational projects - i’m happy to get involved and LEARN BY DOING:)

for the end some small things I enjoy: the smell of a good book, wandering around in nature, goa/psystrance, a hot cup of coffee, the smell of cedarwood and cinnamon, dancing and talking to strangers at train stations.

looking forward to connecting, learning, and helping!

  • More details about your skills

as written before i studied psychology and educational science and these themes draw further into my abilities.
i have babysitted a lot and did tutoring when i was in school.
the year after finishing school i worked full and part time in gastronomy, always in a team with different person(alitie)s - so I know how to adapt, take responsibility, organise and also of course- to prepare food, cook and properly clean (before and afterwards and not only the kitchen).
for my 3 years at uni, i had a job in research and assistance at the educational faculty for 2 years, so I'm also able to do this and do computer work (I don't know if this is needed much - but you never know)
and i have been working in gastronomy again.
i have renovated rooms before and would say i'm quite good at lifting heavy weights and what might be the most important - i'm eager to learn and without sounding to conceited, would say I'm pretty good at learning fast and adapting:)

  • What else ...

I absolutely love going for long walks, hiking, moving my body, reading books on various topics, love to try new food, learn about new cultures, not very much into alcohol but other fun things that connect people like dancing (!!), singing... being creative, I'm really into making collages and even though it is really not sustainable I do love all things shiny, sparkly and glittery
