¡Hola! Somos Maya y Chloé, tenemos 24 y 26 años y somos franceses.
Who are we ?
Chloé : After completing a master’s degree in tourism management and working for two years in a hotel in the French Alps, I decided it was time to explore the world, improve my skills, and learn from new cultures. I would really like to learn to speak spanish.
Maya : After several years as a high-level cross-country skier, I decided it was time for a change and to explore new horizons, cultures, and ways of life. My mother is Colombian, so I already speak some Spanish, but I would love to improve and become more confident in the language.
We are two friends and roommates who spontaneously decided to travel to the other side of the world, eager to gain new experiences and learn while exploring
We are now looking for a Workaway experience in Guatemala, where we hope to connect with other travelers and locals, share our knowledge, and immerse ourselves in the Spanish language in real life.
Why Workaway?
We believe that traveling is the best way to grow and live some big experiences. I’m eager to discover Guatemalan culture, and contribute to a project or community. We love meeting new people, hearing their stories, and understanding how they live and what they do.

Hospitality & Tourism Skills: With Chloe's background in tourism and hotel management, she can help with guest relations, organization, or even marketing.
Sports & Outdoor Activities: As former high-level athletes (in cross country skiing for Maya and biathlon for Chloé) and current ski instructors, We are energetic, disciplined, and love to share our passion for sports and outdoor life.
Language Exchange: We are French native speakers and learning Spanish. We also speak English—We’d love to practice with you and help with English or French in return!
