Description
Hi, I’m Chad , a travelling artist and qualified chef with a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for nature, animals, and community. I’ve spent years combining creativity with hands-on work, from running art workshops and catering events to caring for horses and tending gardens.
I’m a hardworking, reliable person who likes to take tasks head-on and see a job through to the end. Whether it’s feeding animals, maintaining gardens, or helping with property upkeep, I enjoy rolling up my sleeves and contributing wherever I’m needed. My background as a chef has taught me to stay organised, adaptable, and detail-focused, qualities that serve me well in any environment.
What really motivates me is feeling connected: to the land, the animals, and the people around me. I find real happiness in simple, honest work: feeding the horses in the morning, watching a garden grow, cooking a good meal from fresh produce, and ending the day knowing I’ve made a difference.
I’m looking for farm stay opportunities where I can work hard, learn, and be part of a positive, down-to-earth environment that values care, respect, and community.

More details about your skills
I’m a hardworking and adaptable person with a wide range of practical and creative skills. I’m a qualified chef with over 15 years of experience in hospitality and event catering, so I’m confident in the kitchen, from preparing group meals to creating high-quality dishes with fresh produce.
I’m also a professional artist, and I often teach art classes and workshops, which has helped me develop strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
Outside of that, I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience working with animals, especially horses, as well as general farm duties like feeding, cleaning, fencing, gardening, and maintenance. I enjoy outdoor work and don’t mind getting my hands dirty.
I’m confident using tools, mowing, tidying outdoor spaces, and helping with projects around the property. I’m self-motivated, take direction well, and like to get jobs done efficiently and properly.
Overall, I’m reliable, easygoing, and genuinely enjoy contributing wherever I can whether that’s helping with the animals, cooking for a team, maintaining the garden, or lending a hand with creative projects.

What else ...
Outside of work, I’m a pretty easygoing and social person. I love being outdoors hiking, gardening, camping, and exploring new areas and I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by animals and nature.
In my downtime, I enjoy painting, sketching, and cooking for others (especially using homegrown ingredients). I also love music, photography, and anything creative or hands-on.
I really value connecting with people, learning new skills, and helping out wherever I can. I’m the kind of person who enjoys good company, a laugh at the end of a long day, and contributing to a positive, down-to-earth environment.
