I am a young, ambitious woman who is enjoys engaging with many creative mediums such as pottery, painting, graphic design and crochet. I also participate in other hobbies such as archery, hiking, dance and cooking. For the past 2 and a half years I have been working in the centre of Manchester as a batista. This job has taught me many valuable skills such as independence, communication, time management, organisation, teamwork and how to work under pressure. Despite my satisfaction with this job, I am ready to begin exploring the world as I have always been captivated by the idea of experiencing new cultures, exploring breathtaking views, learning about people's way of life and meeting new people. Travel would give me ample life experience and broaden my horizons in a way that staying in Manchester wouldn't, hence why I am ready to embark on this new, more adventurous part of my life.

I am a young guy who loves to volunteer, go on hikes, explore nature and help around when I can, I have years of experience as a youth worker setting up games for kids to play during half-terms,in my free time I like to read and explore nature and in my freetime try to learn new skills, I also have been working in Manchester City center as a batista which has given me great skills such as, teamwork , initiative organisation, time management and a good work ethic. as of 2022 I have began my travels outside of the UK in places such as Greece, Poland, and France however this is just the beginning and I would love to step out of my comfort zone and explore more of the world.

What else ...
We regularly engage in game nights where we play games such as monopoly, uno, battleship and ludo, to name just a few. Additionally we like to connect with nature in a more relaxed way in the form of peaceful walks and picnics however we also engage in more vigorous activities such as hiking and biking. We also cook together often, constantly trying new recipes and exploring new flavour pallets.

Staying here was an amazing experience, the workers are so kinda and patient with new volunteers and Ivan and Ivana truly care about the comfort and safety of everyone involved as well. This was their first WorkAway, and they adapted quickly and efficiently to all the tasks.
