Hi, I'm Abby and I am from Ohio in the US. My first time traveling internationally was in the fifth grade on a school trip where I went to Peru. From then I have been really into travel.

I have previous work experience in a retail shop helping customers and cleaning, in reception at my college's housing office talking to a lot of different people as well as being a camp counselor at that same college. And in a hospital cleaning machines and then delivering those machines as well as linen across the hospital. Most recently I worked at a local public health department.

I have previous volunteer experience at a local soup kitchen, tutoring kids (mainly in junior high), and at an animal shelter.

I stayed with Ruth and Peter for a month, and had a great time. During my time my fellow workawayer Juliano and I prepped things for the upcoming season and cleaned up after winter. Abby was fantastic! She helped me restore the woodwork in my entry way. She learned fast, and soon I completely trusted her to work on her own unsupervised. She's also very easy to get along with, very kind, very funny and both she and my roommate enjoyed having her around. Definitely recommend!
