Hi!

We are Alexis and Edouard, two French friends who have known each other for about six years. We studied together, lived as roommates in the Netherlands for a year and a half, and have shared many projects and experiences since then.

We recently finished our studies in finance and are now traveling together across South America for several months. Through this trip, we’re not just looking to move from place to place, but to experience something more meaningful, human, and connected to local life.

We are particularly interested in working on a cacao or coffee farm because we want to understand how these products are grown and transformed in real life. Alexis has already worked as a commodities analyst intern and developed a strong interest in agricultural products, and we both want to see the reality behind what we studied.

We really enjoy being outdoors and working with our hands. We have spent a lot of time fishing together (including on a small boat we bought), and we also built a small recording studio ourselves in our apartment, which was a great hands-on project.

We are used to living together, cooking, organizing daily life, and adapting to different environments. We believe we are a good balance: Alexis is more outgoing, while Edouard is a bit more calm and thoughtful. Together, we form a reliable, easygoing, and motivated team.

We’re genuinely excited about the idea of sharing daily life with you, learning from your experience, and contributing as much as we can.

Yes, I would really like to improve my Spanish through daily conversations and real-life situations. For me, the best way to learn a language is by speaking and sharing everyday life with people. At the same time, I’d be happy to help others practice English or French if useful.

We don’t come from an agricultural background, but we are both comfortable with hands-on and outdoor work. Through fishing, we’ve developed patience, discipline, and the ability to work in physical and sometimes demanding conditions.

We are used to manual tasks such as carrying, cleaning, organizing, and maintaining spaces. Building our own small recording studio also gave us basic practical skills and showed that we enjoy working on concrete projects from start to finish.

We are reliable, organized, and able to follow instructions carefully thanks to our academic and professional backgrounds (finance and auditing). We are not afraid of repetitive or physically demanding work and are always willing to help wherever needed.

In terms of languages, we both speak fluent English and French. Edouard is also fluent in Portuguese (Brazilian), and Alexis is currently improving his Spanish while traveling. We are very open to communication and cultural exchange.

We are also fully autonomous in daily life: we are used to cooking, living in shared spaces, and adapting quickly to new environments.

Overall, our main strengths are our motivation, adaptability, and genuine willingness to learn and contribute.

What else ...

We enjoy simple and social moments: sharing meals, having good conversations, listening to music, or just spending time outdoors. Cooking is part of our daily life, and we like discovering and sharing local food.

We are both creative in our own ways — we’ve made music together for years (with Edouard producing and Alexis writing), and Alexis is also passionate about film photography. These are things we enjoy sharing with others if the moment feels right.

We also like staying active, whether it’s through sports, working outdoors, or just being busy during the day. At the same time, we appreciate calm moments and a good atmosphere.

Overall, we are easygoing, respectful, and always happy to be part of a positive and friendly environment.
