Description
We are a nomad couple, Mati (Argentina/Italy) and Ale (Colombia/Spain), that have being backpacking around the world for the last years and we find Workaway a good way to be more involve with the culture and the locals.
We are specially interested in help in eco/sustainable and Art projects, projects with wood, eco-building, humanitarian work, photography, work with animals, tourism, Scuba diving, free diving or volunteering somewhere we can learn new skills but at the same time we are open to learn and help as much as we can.

Ale has a degree in Tourism and Labour Science. She does some Macrame and string art as well so she is happy to share this knowledge.
In the last volunteering works Ale has being helping specially with Art projects and decoration (there are some pictures on the profile) but as well in administration areas, help with tourists, painting, pet sitting, gardening, building, cleaning, DIY projects, bartending, taking pictures, permaculture...All these volunteering work were in different places like a Boutique hotel, hostels, eco-camp, diving centers, organic farm and family house.
Matias is a Civil engineer (construction engineer) and he has being volunteer as firefighter for many years.
As a firefighter he always focus his energy and efforts on helping others and putting people's safety first. He has gained excellent experience in team-work, leadership, problema solving and decision making. Also, he has experience volunteering in accomodation, DIY projects as wood furniture, agriculture, basic eco constructions, dog and house sitting among another things.

We were only few weeks with Gula and her family and we helped mainly with the animals, giving them food, cleaning and walking the dogs (Pablo was very happy with the extra walks, he loves being petting too!), and did some other small projects.

We had a really good time with Valentin, he was easy-going, friendly and very fair with the working hours, he was making sure that we had a good time during our stay. We enjoyed the lake excursions, the baking lessons, the talks and all the cherry we ate!

We were astonishing for all the beautiful and creative art we saw in their house!
