I want to workaway to practice my Spanish, to escape New York's difficult winter, and to put my hands in the soil and enjoy the satisfaction of working in nature. I used to be a photographer with a project on Instagram called Gifted, a series that published profiles of artists and the gifts they made, but I soon realized that creating content isn't for me. I want to live free of my devices. I want to cultivate an attention that doesn't crave constant interruption. I'm looking forward to taking a break from the city and slowing down to learn, read, and contribute to a meaningful project. Very much interested in developing new skills :)
