Description
My name is Zoe, I am 19 years old and have recently graduated high school in Spain. I am currently taking a gap year before hopefully starting university in September and am looking for opportunities to fill my remaining time before then with some travel and new experiences.
I was born in England (my dad is English) and I lived in Hungary for 9 years (my mum is Hungarian), so I am fluent in both languages. I also speak Spanish as I have been living in Spain for the past 2,5 years. I love animals, I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and I spent some time volunteering at a local dog shelter so I would be happy to help out with any animal-related tasks. During my gap year I have been working at a ceramic painting workshop where I help guide both children and adults in creating their pieces. I also used to help my mum organise summer camps (she used to be a teacher) so I have experience working with kids. I spend most of my free time with creative hobbies, I crochet and paint, and I hope to study art at university, so I would be happy to help with any creative projects and I am always excited to learn new skills (if you have a mural that needs painting I would absolutely love to be apart of bringing your vision to life!). I also enjoy reading, baking and cooking.
Hi, I'm Renáta, also 19 years old. I spent my whole life in Hungary but have been travelling to foreign countries since I was little. I finished her first half year in university, where I went to learn more about horses and agriculture, but I haven't found my true calling yet so, I've decided to put a pause on my studies for this half year and spend some time travelling and trying as many new experiences as I can. Ever since I was young, I've been constantly surrounded by horses and have a love for all animals. I have been helping out at a farm for four years. Before starting University, I went almost everyday spending my whole afternoons there after school, and especially to spend time taking care of my own horse. As a volunteer, I would clean the horse’s stables and also help with riding lessons and kids. I spent all summer for four years at the farm's summer camps helping out as well, working from 6 am to 6 pm. I spend my free time drawing and writing my own stories, working on characters and their designs. I love being able to use my skills to help others out, for example, since I got my driver’s license two years ago, I often gives lifts to my friends. I'm fluent in both Hungarian and English and also learned German in school.
