Description
My name is Zaira ( 24 years old), and I am from Colombia. I have recently completed my degree in Foreign Languages Education with a focus on elementary education. My long-term goal is to become a Spanish teacher for foreigners, as I am deeply passionate about teaching and cultural exchange.
I have extensive experience working with children, teenagers, and adults through my academic training in education. This has allowed me to develop strong pedagogical skills and a deep understanding of different learning styles. I feel confident in my ability to guide students with patience, creativity, and effectiveness, adapting my teaching strategies to their individual needs.
In addition, I have participated in three Work and Travel programs in the United States, where I worked in different fields such as retail and kitchen positions. These experiences helped me grow professionally, become more independent, and improve my English in real-life environments. I also spent around one and a half years volunteering in Como, Italy, an experience I truly loved, as it allowed me to fully immerse myself in a new culture, support local communities, and continue developing my adaptability and intercultural skills.
I consider myself a curious, friendly, respectful, flexible, hardworking, and honest person. I enjoy challenges and new experiences, which is why I see myself as a dreamer who believes in growth and possibilities. I truly believe that with effort and passion, you can achieve what you set your mind to.
My hobbies include traveling, discovering new cultures and languages, painting, drawing, and reading. I enjoy changing my routine, learning from new environments, and helping others whenever I can. Cultural exchange and human connection are very important values in my life.
