  • Description

My name is Yinyu Zhu, I am from Nanjing, China. Currently, I am pursuing my undergraduate studies in Philosophy and Business at Brandeis University in Boston, USA. Engaging in discussions about my academic pursuits brings me great joy, and I'm always excited to share and exchange ideas on these subjects.

I am interested in any place in the world, and I'm keen on immersing myself in diverse cultures through traveling and living experiences. As someone who cherishes the essence of cultural exchange, I'm very open to contributing my effort in exchange for accommodation. My skills are varied and include cooking, cleaning, housekeeping, and photography. Additionally, I possess basic knowledge in gardening, PC building, and pet care.

I am particularly passionate about cooking; having prepared meals for family and friends for over 6 years, I specialize in Chinese cuisine but also enjoy cooking dishes from other cultures. I love photography, especially landscape and humanistic photography. And I own professional camera equipment, allowing me to capture the beauty of our surroundings.

I am a non-smoker, committed to maintaining personal hygiene and respecting your privacy and space. My aim is to foster positive communication and ensure a harmonious living environment during my stay.

Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to connect and learn from each other.

  • More details about your skills

I am fortunate to have my travelling experience. I went to diverse destinations such as France,Thailand, Japan, the UK, and Hong Kong. Traveling solo and creating my own itineraries has significantly bolstered my adaptability and communication skills. These experiences have taught me how to navigate new environments effectively and connect with people from different backgrounds.

I was a volunteer teacher in Guizhou, China. There, I engaged with elementary school students, imparting knowledge in Chinese and Math, and participated in the upkeep of the school environment. This experience was incredibly fulfilling, allowing me to contribute positively to the community while honing my teaching and organizational skills.

Currently, I extend my passion for service to the elderly in my local community with my school club. As a volunteer at a local old people's home, I regularly interact with residents, providing companionship and support. This has been an extraordinary opportunity to learn how to communicate with people who have totally different thoughts from me.

Through my travels and volunteer work, I have cultivated a versatile skill set and a resilient, open-minded approach to life. I am eager to bring my enthusiasm, experiences, and willingness to learn and contribute to your home or project.
