Hey there!
My name is Wendy, I’m 31 years old and living in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

I have been working as as the head gardener on an organic small-scale social care farm (CSA) for 4 years now. On this farm I was coaching people with disabilities while working together on the land and make vegetable boxes to offer to the towns and cities nearby. I really love working with people and being outside all day.

Apart from working I love wild foraging, making music, hiking, skiing, growing mushrooms, painting, reading, cooking and baking. Cooking and baking I do mostly intuitive. I love making homemade goodies with the things that I foraged or grew myself: foraged and dried tea blends, jams, cakes, energy bars, granola, syrups and mushroom infused chocolate bars.

By the end of January I quit my job to go traveling. Because I want to learn more about the ways of farming in different countries. With different perspectives, old knowledge and practices.

And most of all the mountains were calling me again so I am excited to hike a lot!
