    Description

    Hello!

We are a family of 2 - Luigi and Maja plus our dog Juno (border collie ) and cat Anita- and we are based in the beautiful landscape of Le Marche, a splendid, rural and often underrated region in the central-eastern part of Italy. We live in the countryside of a small village called Mogliano, (5'000 residents, in the province of Macerata), which sits on the sunflower-covered hills, exactly half an hour away from the seaside and 45 mins away from the mountains; a very beautiful and peaceful place to be, especially during summertime.

We are a family of avid travellers and very open-minded people, with a rich multi-cultural background. We kindly ask our guests to assist with gardening, minor maintenance tasks, and household duties. We will also enjoy long walks along numerous countryside paths.

We are looking for open-minded people who like to explore and discover new cultures and lifestyles, who are not afraid of work and are also willing to share an experience with us.

If you are looking for the true and genuine italian experience, plus a little bit more, this is a perfect opportunity! You will find yourself in the middle of the italian countryside, experiencing the life of a small village. But most importantly, you will live with a local family, be part of our routine and enjoy the peaceful nature of the countryside. You could visit the nearby villages and cities, get to know both locals and tourists, go hike in the nauture, sunbathe at the beach, visit or take part to the many summer festivals, try out our typical food, etc..

    Accommodation

We live in a big, restored, rural house with a big garden and swimming pool, on top of a hill, surrounded by sunflowers, in the countryside, a couple km away from the village. The helpers will have an private room.
Help in the kitchen is welcome, and we would like you to sit at our table during meal times, but you are free to provide for food for yourself if you prefer.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

As previously mentioned, our house is in the countryside, something like 2 km away from the village. There are daily buses from the village centre to Macerata (the nearest town) and to the sea-side.

With your time off, you could do things such as hike or ride a bike in the nearby hills and travel around visiting villages or go by train and visit bigger cities.

If you speak or know some Italian, it would be easier for you to get around, as not so many people know English.
