Hello, I’m Tom,
I’m from Germany and started travelling on my own in 2019. It was a wonderful experience, as I love meeting people, chatting with them, working together and learning about other cultures.
I started learning Spanish during these trips and in my spare time. It’s a big dream of mine to improve my Spanish skills while travelling around the world and meeting new people along the way.

I completed an apprenticeship as an automotive mechatronics technician and then worked as a volunteer with the THW (where I work in the IT department and helped build new bridges following the floods in Germany).
After travelling through Bolivia and Colombia, I studied Electrical and Information Technology in Konstanz and wrote my bachelor’s thesis at the German Aerospace Centre in Cologne.
