Description
I spent 8 months as digital nomad in different South and Central American Countries. Mostly in Colombia, wich i loved! Also one month each in Bolivia and Peru and Guatemala and Mexico.
Coming back to Germany felt strange, so i tried out workaway for the 1st time and it couldn't have started out better. I spent a total of three months in Romania, mostly on a traditional farm in a small village close to Timisoara with my great host Teodora. See Feedback below for details.
After that i was House - and Pet-sitting in Portugal for a month. See feedback below. It was great!
After that i was based in Marseille and traveld in the South of France. Now i am back home in Berlin for a while with a new job.
Who i am and what i've done:
* born and raised in a small town in Germany, later living 25 years in Berlin and Hamburg
* raised my son Silas, who is 19 by now and living his own life
* witnessed the total solar eclipse in Hungary in 1999
* experienced and survived cancer in 2013

* worked in the music biz for 12 years. learned in an record company and was head of my own booking agency for 8 years.
* worked 1 year with people with different impairments (down syndrome, multiple physical and mental disabilities)
* learned 3 years to become an educator and worked 4 years in primary/elemantary schools and 3 years in youth care. also trained 2 years in experiential/adventure/nature education for kids groups of different ages.
* worked 4 years 100% remote as community manager for the sightseeing / scavengerhunt / cityguide app lialo.com
