My next destination:
French Polynesia - from Aug 2025 until Sep 2025 View allDescription
Hi! I enjoy spending time in nature and with families - I am motivated to travel to immerse myself in another Francophone culture, to deepen my knowledge of French and love to explore new and beautiful places which inspire the imagination. I love to run, bake/cook, and read and write poetry -I believe in the human bond of kindness which links people from different places together - and would be keen to share cultures and life stories.

More details about your skills
As a second year scholar of English and French literature at the University of Oxford, I am able to tutor English or French to people of all ages. I have extensive tutoring experience with Immerse, FELLOW (teaching English to adult refugees) and to school pupils in Year 5 (aged 10-11).
I am able to help around the house - especially with children and families - I have previously worked as an au pair in France for a family of 5 (aged, 3, 4, 6, 10 and 12) including looking after daily routines, cooking, reading, and leading sports activities and outings. I am happy to accompany children, and lead educational/fun activities with them.
I enjoy cooking - including healthy and nutritional meals, but also can bake (bread, cakes, cookies, etc!) and am willing to help around the house with chores.
Finally, I have experience working with animals and living in nature - I volunteered part-time at my local stables for several years so am skilled with horses and cats. I would love to learn more about looking after other farm animals (cows, sheep, chickens, etc) and to learn about growing crops.
As a hiker, I am comfortable in all weathers - I completed the 100 mile Scottish West Highland Way and am currently planning a 200 mile hike between the West to East coasts of England! I am motivated to get stuck in with whatever needs doing and to adapt myself to any lifestyle and culture.Age

What else ...
In my free time I enjoy music - I sing and play the violin.
I enjoy many sports - weightlifting, running, rowing, horse riding, and swimming.
I most of all love to walk/hike/climb and would like to develop my fitness further and keep exploring new areas of nature.
Finally, I am a calm, independent, mature, and self-sufficient traveller - so no need to worry about keeping me entertained or interested - I am resilient and eager to help where I can. Some more information
