Currently in St. Louis, MO. Aim to travel to both coasts over the next year.
I'm interested in helping out however I can be useful: construction, garden, cooking, creative projects...I like learning.

Description

I am living and traveling in the US. I work some online and have time that I can exchange in an exchange. My top values are connection, creativity/creation, and being a good guest.

In the next year, I'll be in my hometown of St. Louis, as well as visiting loved ones on the east and the west coasts. Sometimes, instead of staying with friends and family, I enjoy engaging in an exchange nearby to grow my skills and experience.

I work professionally in teaching communication, facilitating groups, and coaching teams. I have decided that I would like to develop more handyma'am skills and am always interesting in sustainable projects. I'm exploring options and skills for my future living. I'm also a certified yoga instructor.

I am:
- not afraid (in fact I enjoy) getting my hands dirty, though I'm 10months into healing a broken femur. I can walk around and do a lot, and have some limitations.
- can cook a variety of foods, including gallo pinto, stews, delicious mixed salads, lasagna... as for other foods, if I have a recipe/instructions I am generally good to go.
- have grown a garden successfully and unsuccessfully
- creative, regularly making hand made cards using collage and sewing
- strong intercultural communication skills, I lead trainings on the topic
- fluent in Spanish
I also have years of experience working full-time: planning events, evaluating projects, leading a team, and developing training curricula. However, I come to serve and follow your lead. I am happy to get my hands dirty and jump in where I can be useful.

I was widowed Oct 2024 while traveling in Mexico. I am fluent in grief practices and processes. I can share more about this if asked.
