My main passion is farming. I have set up a number of vegetable gardens over the last ten years. Learning about construction techniques and participating in building projects would also be on my list of what I like doing. In general, I love to have new experiences and learn new ideas whilst working with other people.

My main passion is organic farming, taking from permaculture and other references like Mariano Bueno and John Seymour. I have just spent a year at a Workaway project, where I have set up a number of gardens from scratch, a process involving digging, removal of certain perennial weeds, preparation of beds and paths, sowing of green manure and incorporation of compost. I also made about three cubic metres of biochar, which has been incorporated with excellent results. The soil was very low on nutrients and acidic so various liming agents have also been added. The turnaround in one year has been spectacular, based on the visual aspect of the vegetables from the September plantings. I am taking a break from this project until the spring planting comes around in March.
In general, I work hard and do things well. I have managed restaurants and have lots of experience teaching English.
I would also love to learn about construction methods. Whatever I do, I try to be an asset to my hosts.

I play chess and backgammon to a good level and I love games and sports in general. Geopolitics, cryptocurrencies and alternative history are other interests.
