Hello there!
I am Robert, a musician from Hungary. This year I finally started my dream project and I am currently travelling Europe with my motorbike and my guitar to make music on the road!
I am nature-lover, animal-lover, physical work-lover. Cyclist and hiker. I've done a lot different kind of jobs so far in my life, so I would say I'm a fast learner, even if the job is completely new for me. I get on well with people, mainly because I recieved the best advice from my mother: smiling can solve nearly everything. Thank you mom!
Workaway experience so far:
- Bed and Breakfast general maintenance and stable boy in England
- Building sustainable tree hostels in India (I was also a waiter here)
- Hosted several couples back in Hungary, so I know both sides
- Also, I was a very active member of Couchsurfing since 2009 (hosted about 80+ people from all around the world)

- I am a videographer and likely to have my equipment with me: that means I can help you with promotional videos or anything
- Writing/blogging/journalism (I am a journalist and a writer as well. Published my first book in 2014)
- All kind of physical work (wood cutting, general maintenance, gardening, building, stonemason etc.)
- Guitar playing and singing (I am in a band as the frontman, been on stages since 2006)
- Animal care (six dogs and four cats at home, chicken, pig)
- I love cooking, and can show you some traditional Hungarian recipes
- I have a license in tour-guiding
- I know a thing or two about wines as well, I am working in winetourism in Hungary - can help you with tips
- Waiter (been a front of house member in a Harvester for 3 months)
- I also have a poker dealer certificate
- We used to run a B&B at home, so I can manage people
- I was also a honor guard in the castle of Eger (hometown)
- I usually get on really well with kids (it was even better when I had a big beard, kids love big beards)
