Hi everybody,
I'm a very outgoing, creative and active student of history and geopolitcs.
I just finished my master in Security and Strateic Studies in Turin and now i'd love to travel a bit through Scandinavia.
I love everything nature-related: caring for animals, hiking, running on trails, swimming.
I'm convinced decisive action is necessary to help the comunity around me. I hope to always find myself where i can be useful the most

I am energetic, respectful and frank.
I hold a Bachelor in History and Strategic studies, with a passion for geopolitics.
I aspire to become a war correspondent; during university, I developed good technical skills in photography and with systems like DaVinci Resolve.
I have been working in a bookshop since I was 19, so I have accumulated a deep knowledge of the inner workings of the world of publishing.
I worked as a waiter and an event organizer by night for 2 years (from 2019 to 2021) in a local bar in my hometown.
I have been a Boy Scout since I was 8 and I’m currently finishing my last year as a leader; this experience granted me good communication and organizational skills. Moreover, a passion for educational activities for children and youths grew in me.
I am particularly fluent with languages ( fluent in English and French, improving my German and of course fluent in Italian). I spent two weeks in Berlin last year and I've been traveling across Europe and the United States many times; as a consequence, I developed an ability to quickly accustom myself to any situation and work environment.

I spent two and a half months in the farm, starting in mid September all the way to the beginning of December. I want to give a complete and accurate depiction of my experience; keep in mind though that my experience is more than 1 month old, so things could have partially changed in the meantime.

- Location: it's a wonderful area surrounded by gorgeous cities and small towns : Hamburg, Kiel and Schwerin are pretty easy to reach with a train from Lubeck, which is wonderful itself. You'll get to the sea in two hours by bike. The small village of Dissau doesn't have any shops in it, so you'll need to take one of the rare buses or a bike to get anywhere. catching buses is sometimes particularly tedious, since they only run a handful of times during the day AND NOT IN THE WEEKEND. In general, i would recommend visiting the farm in Spring or Summer in order to move around more freely with bikes (note: to move at night by bike could be pretty dangerous on country roads without illumination. If you can, bring your own bike light and helmet).
- Accommodation: small yet cozy room, actually really cool. There's a latrine outside but i almost always used the family's bathroom (mind you: at some point in the evening, around 9 p.m. or so, you will not be able to use it anymore unless you comunicate your needs to the family). My room had almost no wi-fi connection but things may have changed. Wash machine and dryer are always available.
- Work: a lot of different tasks. The family understands that mistakes happen and that's really all i could ask for. I really enjoyed it!
- Food: the family provides workawayers with fresh products that are too close to the expiration date to be sold, plus other food. It is generally sufficient. Just a bit of improvisation is needed to come out with cool dishes. Little meat was provided so i recommend you communicate with the family if you have specific needs.
I never ate with the family since they have to care for their children. It was a shame but i understand the reason behind it.
- Relationship with the host: the family is very understanding, kind and helpful. Sadly i couldn't be part of the family as i hoped for, since they prefer to have some privacy. The cultural exchange is the only part of the experience i found lacking.
- Other hosts and coworkers: During my stay i met plenty of other workawayers. The coworkers are kind and they speak only in German.

In summary: awesome experience. Particularly recommended in the warm season. Do not expect an intense cultural exchange with the family.
