Description
Hello! We are Pascale and Philippe, an active and friendly Canadian couple from Quebec City. We are passionate about travel, cultural exchange, outdoor life and meaningful volunteer work.
After travelling to more than 30 countries, we are planning a five-month journey through Nepal, India and Thailand in 2026–2027. We hope to support schools, community projects, farms, family guesthouses or eco-projects while discovering local cultures and building genuine connections.
Pascale has degrees in visual arts and communications/marketing. She works with preschool children, teaching yoga, dance, English and creative arts, and also works with older adults in a long-term care hospital. She is a certified yoga teacher and can help with childcare, teaching, art projects, yoga, gardening, cooking, animal care and companionship for seniors.
Philippe is a retired aerospace and software engineer who continues to work part-time. He can help with computers, websites, social media, photography, general maintenance, carpentry, DIY projects, gardening and physical outdoor work.
We are responsible, adaptable and respectful. We enjoy practical work, are comfortable working independently or as part of a team, and always respect the customs and daily rhythms of our hosts.
For us, Workaway is more than an exchange of work for accommodation. It is an opportunity to contribute, learn and form meaningful relationships. We would love to discover local traditions, food, agriculture and ways of life while sharing our own experience and skills.
We both speak fluent French and English, and we have an intermediate level of Spanish. We would be happy to help our hosts and their families practise French or English.
We look forward to sharing our time, skills and positive energy with welcoming hosts in Nepal, India and Thailand!
Warm regards,
Pascale & Philippe -

It was great to have you guys!
To all hosts: You would be doing yourselves a favor by having these guys volunteer for you.
Polite, hard workers, problem solvers, efficient and amiable!
I hope that you are both doing great!
