Description

My name is Peter, I am 29 years old, and I am a Hungarian from Slovakia. I am fluent in Hungarian and Slovak, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from UPJŠ. I also enjoy driving and exploring new places whenever I get the chance.
I have a deep love for travel and discovering new cultures. Recently, I spent three years living in the Netherlands, which was an incredible experience that broadened my perspective and gave me the chance to meet people from different backgrounds. Traveling has always been a passion of mine, and I enjoy learning from every place I visit, whether it’s through the local food, traditions, or simply observing everyday life.
Animals have always held a special place in my heart, but until now, I haven’t had many opportunities to care for them as much as I would like. Volunteering is a wonderful way for me to combine my love for animals with meaningful work, while also exploring new adventures and meeting people who share similar values. I want to step away from workplace prejudices and negativity and dedicate my time to something that truly makes a difference.
In my free time, I enjoy films, podcasts, books, and series, always seeking stories that inspire and spark curiosity. I am a curious, caring, and motivated person who loves learning, helping others, and making every experience meaningful. I am excited about the chance to volunteer, meet new people, care for animals, and immerse myself in new adventures that I have dreamed about for a long time.

I am a responsible and open-minded person who adapts quickly to new environments and people. I have experience living abroad – I spent almost three and half years in the Netherlands, where I lived in many different cities. This helped me become flexible, independent and comfortable with change.
I am physically fit and not afraid of hands-on work. I can help with general maintenance, cleaning, organizing, gardening, basic renovation tasks or outdoor work. I enjoy practical tasks where I can see real results at the end of the day.
I love animals and would be very happy to help with animal care. Although I didn’t always have the opportunity to work with them professionally, I am attentive, patient and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals.
I am also interested in culture, music, books and meaningful conversations. I respect different lifestyles and enjoy being part of a team, but I am also capable of working independently.
I am motivated, curious and ready to learn new skills. I see volunteering not just as work, but as a life experience where both sides can grow.
