I enjoy learning from people and books and spending time outdoors hiking, gardening, bicycling, skiing or maybe hunting for mushrooms. My family and friends are very important to me. My work has focused on writing, research, interviewing and speaking as a journalist and non profit manager. I like to travel because it exposes me to other people's values and priorities, joys and concerns. Seeing the world through other people's eyes enriches my own life experience.

She was very kind and helpful during her stay. She helped us with the dishes and preparing meals. She also taught my children some recipes, and we enjoyed cooking together.
