Description
Hi, we're Mera (26) and Otto (28)!
We're a couple from Berlin who really enjoy meeting new people, experiencing different ways of life, and trying things we've never done before. For us, traveling is less about ticking places off a list and more about getting to know people and learning from them.
Otto is studying Architecture in Liechtenstein and will be starting an exchange semester in Tokyo this October. Mera is studying Social Work in Berlin. Even though we study different subjects, we've always enjoyed working on practical projects together.
We're both pretty hands-on and like being active. We enjoy working outdoors, helping with DIY projects, gardening, painting, or just lending a hand wherever it's needed. We're also happy to work with people or animals and are always willing to learn something new if we don't already know how to do it.
What makes us happy is sharing meals, having good conversations, spending time in nature, making things with our hands, and feeling useful. We like being part of everyday life in a new place instead of just passing through as tourists.
We're easygoing, curious, and happy to adapt. More than anything, we're looking forward to getting to know our hosts, sharing experiences, and creating a friendly connection while we're there.
We're excited to meet you and hope to see you soon! -

More details about your skills
We both bring different skills through our fields of study and enjoy using them in practical ways while learning from the people we meet. Mera studies Social Work and Otto studies Architecture, so we often approach projects from different perspectives and enjoy working as a team.
Mera enjoys working with people and has experience with children of different ages through babysitting, schools, and nurseries. Through her social work studies, she has gained experience supporting people from different backgrounds, including people with disabilities. She values empathy, patience, and good communication, and enjoys helping to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and included.
Otto loves designing and building things. As an architecture student, he enjoys practical projects just as much as creative ones, whether it's carpentry, painting, photography, repairs, gardening, or trying out new building techniques. He likes finding practical solutions, working with his hands, and isn't afraid to learn something new along the way.
Together, we love cooking, gardening, and working on projects that bring people together. Whether we're helping around the house, building something, looking after children, or simply lending a hand where it's needed, we always bring curiosity, kindness, and a positive attitude. We believe the best part of Workaway is sharing skills, learning from one another, and becoming part of the local community -

Feedback
His ideas of teaching was also very nice. It was a pity that I couldn't have time to learn his lesson about the body.
It was fun to listen his experiences in Asia and his dinner was super delicious.
