My next destination:
New Zealand - from Mar 2025 until Dec 2025 View allDescription
Hi there!
My name is Niels and I am 31 years old.
I have been travelling for over 2 and a half years now of which I spend a lot of time in Australia.
Here I have had experience in gardening, construction, housekeeping, farmwork, painting, renovating a boat, build floating wetlands and more. At this point I've almost done it all haha.
In Belgium my occupations were working in a store that provides animal necessities, hand crafting drum kits and before that I used to work for a company that handled the water distribution for a large part of Belgium.
If we go back even further all my other jobs were as random as the next one, so you could say I'm a bit of a jack of all trades.
Lastly I think it's worth mentioning that I'm a big animal and music enthousiast!
Hopefully see you soon!

More details about your skills
I'm a person who enjoys picking up new skills everywhere, a mindset which has left me with a varied skillset.
I enjoy working with my hands and have grown especially fond of woodworking lately. I spent some time building custom drum sets as well as some random carpentry jobs here and there.
I have worked in an animal supply store, did a desk job for the government once, was a security officer at the airport, maintained the water grid (laying new pipes, fixing leaks,...), worked in a bar, helped building festivals,...
In short: I've done a lot and I'm still happy to learn new things!Age
32
What else ...
Well I'd say my number one interest would be insects (and animals in general). So if your garden is filled with little critters that can't be found where I live, you'll be sure to see me try and spot as many of them as I can.
I love sharing music preferences and getting to know new bands, artists,...
I'm a beginner drummer myself, so if there's an old drum kit somewhere in the attic you don't mind me banging on, be sure to let me know! (I'll provide some earplugs :D)
One more thing, I love trying out just about anything. It's really easy getting me on board to go do something I haven't tried yet! Some more information
