Description

I'm Neive, a 25yo from Australia with EU citizenship.

I am currently travelling through Europe and would love to use Workaway as an opportunity to live like a local and take my time to truly explore.

I have 9 years of volunteer experience across lots of big and small organisations (including but not limited to state emergency service, crisis support and youth development) and love engaging in something bigger than myself while giving back to community. I have also volunteered at Kathmandu orphanages, schools and elderly homes.

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, reading, skiing, dancing, aerial hoop/hammock, swimming, volunteering and playing card and board games!

I pride myself on being a very quick learner, able to efficiently complete tasks shortly after learning. I am able to work from a list of tasks, but can also autonomously identify and complete tasks without being instructed.

I am a foster carer so have experience with children aged 6-18 years old. With little guidance, I would be able to quickly adjust to younger children.

After many years working in hospitality, I've developed great communication skills, a high level of cleanliness and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

I've developed a high level of computer skills and attention to detail, after working as an administration officer in a customer facing role.

Hold a manual licence and can confidently drive any size car including towing a trailer, if required.

No dietary requirements (but more than happy to eat vegetarian/vegan diet).

I don’t smoke or do drugs, and very rarely drink.

I've lived in share houses and also alone for a number of years and as such, am very considerate and respectful of others and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
