🌍 Hey there! We're Niklas and Monica, ready to embark on a wild adventure spanning 12 to 24 months! Our mission is fueled by a vision of harmonious living with nature and animals, aspiring towards a self-sustained lifestyle in the future. Along the way we aim to explore the world, connect with its people and learn about their stories.
🔨 Now, we're no strangers to hard work. Whether it's building huts, working around the garden or taking care of animals, we're looking to roll up our sleeves and support you with your projects.

With Monica bringing the marketing magic and Niklas wielding the entrepreneurial spirit, we've got a mix of corporate smarts and a whole lot of heart for more hands-on, creative pursuits. Monica also got a knack for capturing life's most precious moments behind the lens as a professional photographer. And Niklas? As a certified fitness coach and health enthusiast he is making sure the both of us stay in shape and active 💪
But wait, there's more! We're no strangers to farm life. Niklas grew up in the country side taking care of animals (he is a bit of a dog whisperer) and helping out with landscaping / gardening. Monica worked on multiple farms in Australia where she was planting, pruning, harvesting and fixing irrigation. Since starting this journey in July 2024 we have helped workaway hosts building stone walls, hillside "stairs", doing cement/concrete work and lots of garden work.
We are generally rather handy and have plenty of experience with renovation projects, whether it's demolishing walls, painting, laying floor or crafting something beautiful out of wood.
