Hi, I'm Minori from Japan.
I'm 25 years old and graduated at the top of my class from Bunka Fashion College, the most prestigious fashion school in Asia.
Currently, I work for a luxury brand, teach Japanese, occasionally help out at a wine stand, and also work as a model!

Through Workaway
I've helped with construction, taken care of a 2 year old girl and a 6 month old boy, cleaned barns, cared for horses and chickens, cleaned rooms, and done gardening near Ottawa. After that, I worked at an organic herb garden in Quebec, where I grew herbs, helped with gardening, assisted with cooking, and did daily cleaning.
Later, I went to France to teach Japanese to children at an international school in Manosque. Then, I traveled to Spain to help prepare a huge paella for a festival and assist with daily cleaning. After that I take care of 2 children (12years old and 13 years old) and helping a lot of home tasks in Mexco. After returning to Canada, I worked on a small island in Prince Edward County, running an antique shop, repairing furniture, assisting with construction, and farming. Later, I helped with organic wine production and cared for six puppies in London.

Raised and Born
-I was born in Shizuoka, Japan, and have been living alone in Tokyo since I was 19.
My family runs a Chinese restaurant, so I grew up helping out from a young age. Because of this, I love interacting with people and making them smile:)Later, I moved to Tokyo for school, and during my break from studies, I traveled using Workaway!

Clothing & Fashion Experience
-I have experience in clothing measurements/Assistant for stylist/Assistant for Fashion PM
(I worked as an assistant to 20 designers at a major Japanese textile company, where I measured garments, handled deliveries, sewed clothing, attached buttons, cut fabric, shooting, contacting, and assisted with various other tasks.)
-I studied Sustainable Fashion.🪡
(I completed an online course in Sustainable Fashion at Copenhagen Business School since I was unable to study abroad due to COVID-19.)
-I graduated at the top of my class from Bunka Fashion College in 2023, the most prestigious fashion school in Asia.

Work currently
-Temporary at a natural wine store.
(It's an Italian restaurant and wine shop, where I’ve had the chance to try over 100 different natural wines from around the world, mainly from Italy.)
-Teaching Japanese
I teach Japanese online and also in my free time, volunteer as a Japanese teacher on my days off.
(I love sharing my language and culture with others, and I always enjoy seeing my students improve!)

I participate as a model in accessory brand events and hair shows whenever I have free time.
