Hello there! I'm from Hamburg and have been working for 10 years now. Now I have started a new adventure with a Work&Travel year in 2025. I love being outside in nature and going for walks or taking pictures. I'm looking forward to having new experiences and learning something new about myself and the world.

At my first Workaway I helped with beekeeping, weeding, pruning and also some sanding of windows and painting a wall.
And last year I moved into a new house where I have been able to improve some skills. Because the house needed the walls painted, a new floor laid and new wallpaper put up, all of which I have done. I also planted some flowers in a pot, as well as tomatoes and cucumbers.
I don't have any pets myself, but I really like animals and would love to learn to work with them.
In general, I am always interested in learning new things!

Merle was with us for 2 weeks. In that time she did a range of farm related activities such as working with sheep, fence repairs, track clearing, scrub cutting and weed spraying and eradication. An absolute pleasure to host Merle who was friendly, helpful and willing to just pitch in. A beautiful balance of wanting to be part of whatever we were up to as well as independent and happy to go off and do her own thing. I am very glad that it worked out at such short notice that I could stay. I had a fantastic time with Steffi, Hōri, Mātai-Nuku and little Momo-Āio!
The cabin is wonderful and a quiet, peaceful place.
I did mostly weeding, but Steffi always gave me the option to do something else and choose what I wanted to do.

Merle stayed with us for two weeks and was fantastic, she worked extremely hard at all the tasks we asked her to do and was pleasant company.

While she was here she pruned my garden, cleared grass from trees in the orchard, painted an exterior wall of our holiday home and sanded and painted some windows. She also helped with the honey harvest… read more
