Description
A bit of a jack of all trades, I've worked in factories and farms all over New Zealand. I have experience milking and driving a tractor on a dairy farm, doing maintenance and irrigation work on a hop farm, picking kiwifruit flowers, packing avocadoes, and picking mud out of raw salt for 12 hours a day. I know what it is to get stuck in.
As for factories I've been working in that space for several years and have worked my way up. I now have a lot of experience with lean manufacturing principles, that is analysing a production process and finding ways to improve efficiency, I'd be more than happy to share these skills with you if it's of help.
I studied economics at University so hopefully I can hold a good conversation too. I'm good with DIY and landscaping having made my own zen garden at home and completed many projects with my father around the house. Familiar with most tools.
Few things I've yet to try are shepherding, self-sufficient agriculture, and construction. Would love if you could help me tick those off my list. The eventual plan is to buy a little block out in the country and build my own house but for now I'm enjoying travelling and picking up the skills to do so. -

I read a great deal, mainly non-fiction. Before I left New Zealand I was singing in a Balkan choir. I've also been making bonsai trees for the past 8 years and would be happy to show you how! I've had a bunch of other nitche hobbies over the years too, beekeeping, bookbinding, sailing, etc. Can play Clarinet, Saxophone and Guitar.
