Hola amigos; (** INGLÉS ABAJO **)

Adoro a los animales y cuidar por ellos es un honor y un placer. Puedo trabajar sin instrucciones, siempre voy buscando cosas que puedo hacer a mejorar el lugar. Trabajar es mi forma de dar amor, estar en contacto con la naturaleza y aprender nuevas cosas. Me encanta trabajo físico en el campo, cuando estoy sudando y sucio con mis manos en la tierra estoy feliz.

Crecí en un pueblo con caballos, conejos, gatos, perros y vacas, pasaba mucho tiempo con animales, eran mis amigos. Mi amor por los caballos me llevo a trabajar en una escuela de equitación (no remunerada). Trabajaba allí todo el fin de semana, limpiaba las cuadras y cuidaba a los caballos felizmente.

En España, he trabajado en bares, hoteles y turismo. Es genial conocer a los clientes habituales y hacer que los turistas se sintieran como en casa. Me encanta disfrazarme y unirme en el espíritu de noches temáticas. Además, trabajé como asistente de cuidado con clientes vulnerables y discapacitados. Esto me requirió tener paciencia, ser amable, compasiva y considerada.

Trabajaba en Londres estuve 17 años en servicios financieros como aseguradora y atención al cliente.

Soy modista y coso mi propia ropa, también me gusta pintar y hacer arte.

No me gusta los ordenadores, ni móviles, ni el mundo digital. No tengo nada de media social (aparte de esta página y WWOOF). Prefiero conocer a seres vivíos de todos los tipos cara a cara u ojo a hoja y alma a alma. Inteligencia artificial es como flores artificiales.

No bebo alcohol porque tengo resacas terribles. No necesito alcohol para bailar y hablar con la gente.

Hasta ahora con 'work away' mis tareas han sido:
Desbrozar zarzas.
Podar y replantar palmeras.
Podar olivos.
Recoger y cortar leña.
Limpieza de la casa, cuidar de los animales, cocinar.
Excavar y cavar lechos de plantas.
Segar el césped.
Colocar vallas.
Pintar.
Traducción entre español e inglés.
Desbloquear un fregadero y arreglar la lavadora.
Arreglar el techo.
Lijar, pulir, pintar y fregar las cubiertas en un barco.
Coser almohadas, edredón, pantalones y bolsos.
Encargarme por mi cuenta de un albergue, recepción y limpieza y aplicar medidas sanitarias.
Construir un muro de piedra seca.
Construir una casa de bioconstrucción y adobe.
Colectar y secar peras.
Podar verde de las uvas.
Reacondicionar una furgoneta para convertirla en un hogar.
Hacer compost y cuidar a las lombrices.

I adore animals and caring for them is an honour and a pleasure. I can work without instructions as I always look for things I can do to improve where I am, but I also like to learn new things and follow instructions. Working is my way of showing love and gratitude. Doing physical work, being sweaty and dirty with my hands in the earth is terrific.

I grew up in a village with guinea pigs, rabbits, a cat, the neighbours’ dogs and the cows at the end of the field and always spent a lot of time with the animals, they were my friends. My love for horses led me to work in a stable (unpaid). I worked there all weekend, sleeping in the stables, happily cleaning the yard, brushing grooming and riding horses.

In Spain I have worked in bars, hotels and tourism making holidaymakers feel at home. It was fabulous to dress up and join the spirit of the theme nights. I have also been a as a care assistant caring for vulnerable and disabled clients. This required me to have patience to be kind, compassionate, and considerate.

I worked in financial services for 17 years, in London, in customer service and then in underwriting, when I decide to come to Spain.

I am a dressmaker and I sew my own clothes, I also like to paint and make art.

I don’t like computers, mobiles, or the digital world. I have no social media (apart from this page and WWOOF). I prefer to meet living beings of all types face to face or eye to leaf and soul to soul. artificial intelligence is like artificial flowers.

I don't drink alcohol because it makes me put on weight and I have terrible hangovers. I don't need to drink to dance and talk to people.

Sanding, polishing, painting and scrubing the decks of a ship.
Sewing, pants, duvets, pillows and handbags.
Running a hostel, being left in charge alone, reception and cleaning.
Green pruning of grapes.
Collecting and drying pears.
Building a dry-stone wall.
Building a bio-construction house with adobe.
Cleaning a swimming pool
Reconditioning a lorry into a home.
Making compost and caring for the worms.

Soy un jinete del caballo con experiencia y disfruto de cuidar de animales.
