We are Mari and Hooman, a couple who believe life is too short to stay in a safe zone. Hooman is a civil engineer, a structural designer and calculator, and Mari has a PhD in philosophy and loves discovering cultures, beliefs, and human connections. We are currently residents of Spain and would love to experience the south of France like locals, not tourists. We love nature, animals (especially dogs!), quiet rural life, good conversation, cooking, music, and meaningful experiences. We don’t smoke, we don’t mind having a drink, we enjoy a healthy lifestyle, and we are calm, respectful, and adaptable people who truly connect with humans from different cultures and ways of life. We speak English and Spanish, and we’d love to share beautiful moments, stories, work, and laughter together. We’ve just joined remote work communities.

Hooman – Civil Engineer
I love design, especially when it comes to old buildings. I'm also a total tech nerd: Windows, networks, you name it – I handle it like a pro. Animals? They just come straight to me. And yeah, I love gardening and farm work too.
Mari – PhD in Philosophy of Religión
I used to teach at university, but I'm super easy to talk to. I love meeting new people and having real conversations – about life, culture, beliefs, religions, even about superstitions and anything that makes you think. I'm great with animals, I'm great in cooking, and I can spend hours taking care of plants and flowers. I'm also really into fitness – I work out regularly and I'm pretty good at it.
