Description
Hi, my name is Máire, 26 years old, currently travelling Canada on a work holiday Vias with my best mate Megan, 21 years old. I am from Ireland and Megan is from Wales. We both love travelling and experiencing different cultures. We are both very self-motivated and hands-on workers who also love being outdoors hiking, or kayaking. We are both avid readers during cold Winter nights. Most of my employment experiences have been in child and elderly care, catering and housekeeping. Megan's experiences in employment have been in maintenance, cleaning, and food safety. We have both done work as outdoor educators in Ontario while working in a summer camp and are currently room attendants in Banff. We are both extremely excited about what lies ahead in exploring Canada.

I have worked in the Scouts for many years both as a Scout and as a leader (9th Doneal Muff Scout group). Where we hiked kayaked and explored many different areas along with growing crops and making our meals with tranges.I am great at communicating and empathizing with people I have experience working as a HCA (Health Care Assistant) back home in Ireland and in Northern Ireland. There I looked after the residents till they passed. I was involved in personal care - washing and dressing, along with helping with food and feeding them. During the day we did a lot of activities both indoors and outdoors depending on the weather and the resident's abilities. Since arriving in Canada I have been working in the Fairmont Springs Hotel in Banff, along with doing a few farm stays in British Columbia.
