Hi, I'm Darren! I'm an avid traveler and student of culture and languages and am very excited to begin exploring Workaway Volunteer Opportunties.

I live in Medellin, Colombia and work as an awareness and meditation coach. I'm very laid back, and mostly spend my free time writing, reading or dancing. I'm a huge dancer, I love almost all styles of dance, but my favorites are bachata, salsa and zouk.

I love traveling the world and learning new cultures, languages as well as learning about the local history and stories. It helps me develop a greater perspective of this very interesting world we live in as well as know myself and my wonderful clients.

I have several skills including being an excellent cook, and very much look forward to learning new skills, especially farming, bee keeping and working with animals.

I will be in Colombia indefinitely but am looking to explore workaway as a means of traveling and connecting more deeply with the countries and people I visit.

I'm a really, really good cook, either preparing an entire meal or helping. I'm also a quick and eager learner and am in pretty good physical shape, though I am getting older. I also work as a meditation and awareness coach in case one enjoys those conversations and have worked with clients around the world.

One of the suggestions was board games and I love board games :) ... I'm an explorer though and enjoy learning more about this very interesting world we live in and look forward to connecting with people from different cultures.
