We are a young couple from Chile, excited to explore the world, learn from different cultures, and live new adventures. With our one-year Work and Holiday visa, we’re ready to work and discover Austria while learning German and diving into Austrian culture.

We are a couple in search of a new adventure, with experience in the hospitality industry and a strong ability to adapt.
I, Loredana, hold a degree in French Pedagogy, while my partner, Camilo, holds a degree in Electrical Engineering. Camilo has skills in both residential and industrial electricity. He has worked with generators, industrial maintenance, and basic mechanics. He speaks French at an A2 level and basic English. In addition, he knows how to cook and holds a driver’s license.
As for myself, my strengths are mainly in the cognitive field. I speak fluent French and English at an A2 level. I have an excellent memory and consider myself a very empathetic person with strong cultural sensitivity, which allows me to better understand the values and ways of life of other cultures. I also know how to cook and have a great affinity with children, with experience in childcare.
While each of us possesses different individual skills, as a couple we share highly comparable professional strengths, including strong communication abilities, teamwork, adaptability, proactivity, and keen observational skills. These qualities have consistently enabled us to perform efficiently in every challenge we have encountered. We are highly motivated to learn German and to deepen our understanding of Austrian culture.
In 2023, we had an international experience in France. At first, I worked independently as a Spanish teacher while Camilo was learning French. Later, we both worked at a hotel called “Domaine du Roc Nantais” as polyvalent staff. This hotel, located in the mountains (Midi-Pyrénées), gave us the opportunity to take on a variety of responsibilities, including hotel cleaning, gardening, buffet service, bar assistance, and dishwashing.
Living and working in France, we experienced countless adventures that led us to discover new realities, a culture completely different from our own, and experiences that left a lasting mark on our lives. This experience, besides showing us a side of life that not everyone has the opportunity to know, also helped us grow as individuals and as a couple, something for which we are deeply grateful. This feeling accompanies us every day and motivates us to want to discover more of our world, to embark on a new adventure, to enrich ourselves with the good, the bad, and the new—new places, new realities, new cultures, and also new friends, friends we hope will remain throughout our journey.
