Hello there!
My name is Leonie! I'm a 19-year-old german with the desire to experience and discover the true beauty of Australia! Since my grandparents used to live there for almost 18 years, I grew up hearing many fascinating stories about the country. Now that I've finished school this summer, I decided to travel to Australia myself in order to get to see all the places my grandparents used to talk about before! While doing so, I'm excited to strengthen my confidence and grow as a person. Moreover, I'm an adventurous, enthusiastic, ambitious, cheerful and open minded person, that would love to spent an unforgettable and life changing journey with lovely, like-minded peolpe.

I already worked as a pest controller in Germany. Helping our customers to get rid of wasps in summer. By doing so I gained a lot more self-consciousness and trust in myself. I'm also having some knowledge of childcare, since I have a little sister of my own. In addition, I always used to help my parents around the house. Including gardening, cleaning, helping with the cooking, feeding our guinea pigs, assist with repairs and a few other little things.

Some further information/facts to get to know me a little better:
Over the last view year I became a very huge P!nk fan! I just love listen to her music and was more then excited to actually see her performing live on stage. One of my Hobbies, which I've been passionate about for many years is Karate. I first started when I was seven years old and stuck with it ever since. Over time, I've also developed an interest in multiple other activities, such as diving, riding motorcycles, sketching and skateboarding. I also once tried playing the piano... but turns out that I'm probably better in listening to music then making it myself, haha

It was great having Leonie stay, she helped out with tasks around the home, hung out for chats, played the PS4 with my son and shared meals. We made it out on a trail run together too.

Leonie is super respectful, considerate and was an ease to have around the house. I’d certainly recommend Leonie as a great Workaway guest.
