Description
Hi! We’re Laura (30) and Albert (31), partners in life and adventure. We love discovering new places, meeting inspiring people and getting involved in meaningful projects that have a positive impact on both people and the environment.
Our biggest passion is the mountains. We spend as much time as possible climbing, skiing, hiking, exploring remote places and simply enjoying nature with good friends. We also love building things, learning new skills and working with our hands. We’re curious, easy-going, respectful and not afraid of hard work. We genuinely enjoy being part of a team and contributing wherever we can.
Laura is a designer and runs her own creative studio, where she works on branding, marketing and communication for businesses and projects that create social and environmental value. She enjoys creative problem-solving, visual storytelling and helping meaningful initiatives communicate their vision.
Albert is currently training to become a firefighter and is a qualified carpenter by trade. He has a real talent for building, repairing and creating almost anything with his hands. Whether it's woodworking, construction, maintenance or practical problem-solving, he loves taking on new challenges and always gives his best.
At the moment, we're travelling through Nepal. We're about to spend several weeks trekking through remote Himalayan valleys, and afterwards we'd love to join a project where we can learn, contribute and connect with like-minded people. We're especially interested in eco-building, natural construction, permaculture, regenerative farming, education and community-based initiatives, but we're always open to new experiences where we can be useful and keep learning.
For us, Workaway is much more than exchanging work for accommodation. It's about sharing knowledge, living alongside local people, contributing with enthusiasm and creating genuine human connections.
If you think we'd be a good fit for your project, we'd be very happy to meet you and become part of your team! -
