Hello ! I’m Kylian, I’m 27 and I live in Plouguerneau, on the coast of Brittany. I harvest edible seaweed on the shore for a living, and I’m passionate about algae. I love to be in nature, every day I go for a walk, a hike, on the bike, or I take my bodyboard. I am very calm and contemplative, I’ve realised we already have everything around us, all we need is to slow down and appreciate the moment. It’s all in the little things.
I love to play strategy games, card games and board games. I’m curious and I like to try new things. Right now I’m learning to play the guitar and to read the Tarot. I also love juggling balls and I would be happy to teach you 😊 I wish to learn about autonomy, living closer to nature and low tech, as I see myself living in a more minimalist way. I love being around animals, we have cats and I’ve cared for dogs of friends several times.
I have been wanting to go to Ireland for a while, you are a bit of our neighbours from the other side of the sea. The countryside looks stunning, and everyone praised the spirit of sharing and partying of Irish folks! I hope this trip can help me have new perspectives on my life and my choices, and have fun!
I believe my English comprehension is good as I watch a lot of videos, but I don’t have the opportunity to speak so I might be slow, and you will have to bear my horrendous French accent…
This is my first time volunteering for a workaway/woofing experience, I’ve travelled a lot before but never alone. Last year I’ve spent 3 weeks in Slovenia with my family, we did a lot of hiking and enjoyed the apple strudel! Before that I went on a road trip in Spain and Morocco with a friend, it was quite the adventure!
