    Description

Hey 👋🏼 I am Philipp, moved here about two years ago, so we are basically at the beginning of many exciting goals. The project is at the moment in the following: Rebuilding house, managing the vegetable garden, planting a food forest, creating chill spaces around the whole land, taking care of the animals (goat, dog, ducks, geese and chickens)...
Living in an area close to the beach with a lot of cool stuff to do (surfing, snorkelling, etc.) but also be in the mountains in a magical forest makes the place really special to me. This is a beautiful spot if you like nature and calmness, but still there is super nice community close around, which are like-minded and lovely people from many different countries.
I have lots of knowledge about a variety of things and always eager to learn something new at the moment the focus lays on this topics natural building, permaculture, sintropic agroforestry, goat keeping, surfing,...

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

-We are 2 hours away by car from Santiago de Compostela, one of the routes of the Camino passes nearby. This part of Galicia is not specially overexploited by tourism. It has many natural and cultural attractions (cliffs, beaches, historical spots, hiking paths, rivers, amazing forests, wildlife, local gastronomy and festivities...)
-I speak few languages and most of oy friends are from several places around the world.
-My home is the perfect place to connect deeply with nature and dive into a low impact lifestyle more similar to how people used to live some decades ago.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

The accomodation is ideal for campers and vans, we have a separate area from our house to park, with a compost toilet and outdoor shower (work in progress), with beautiful views, sorrounded by trees, orchard and no neighbours. We can also provide a sleeping tent. It's possible to put up a tent but it's a very humid weather. .

We can offer 2-3 meals a day (our eating times constist on coffee/tea in the morning, big breakfast at 13:00 (intermit fasting) and big dinner at 19:00 aproximately), mostly vegetarian with self produced ingredients or local purchased. Our meals are most of the times vegetarian and with food from our garden. We have no electricity, only a small solar panel to charge our phones. The water on the land is not drinkable, we collect it in a spring nearby.

    What else ...

It's convenient to have a car, the closest bus stop to go in town is 10 min away by car. There is not many of public transportation options but there is often people happy to give a lift.
It's and ideal place to ride around with the bike and get lost through amazing nature.
There are many spots to park and camp overnight (beaches, rivers, recreational areas, hot springs...).
Many many people of all ages and nationalities live around us (30 min by car), families wanting to live alternatively closer to natural rythms and different perspectives about education, socialization and consume.
