Hi! I'm Kyle a 36yo guy currently living in a cooperative house in Oakland, CA. At the time of writing this description, my hobbies include traveling, cooking, volunteering, playing music (guitar and djembe), improv comedy, yoga, running and reading. I'm focusing on reconnecting with myself and nature. I plan to do this through travel, farming, volunteering, cooking and exploring various healing modalities.
Although I'm not particularly adept at any specific farming tasks, I'm eager to learn and contribute to your community and/or project. I am in good physical condition, capable of heavy lifting and completing strenuous and monotonous tasks.
I have a degree in early childhood education, a certification in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and and certification in Social & Emotional Learning. I enjoy meaningful conversations about culture, social sciences, healing, connection, non-violent communication, love, and personal development. I'd love to hear more about your journey.

I have quite a bit of manual labor experience from my time serving as an engineer in the United States Marine Corps. Though I am inexperienced in farming and agriculture, I'm in good physical shape and capable of heavy lifting and strenuous work. I am also helpful in the kitchen, although I am by no means a chef. I also have a degree in Early Childhood education and a certification in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). I'm pursuing a certification in Social & Emotional Learning and have been studying Non-Violent Communication as a practice.
