I am a Registered Children's Nurse who has been working in Higher Education for the last 3 and a half years. I am about to take a career break for the purpose of realigning with my values, having an adventure and embarking on new experiences. I am particularly interested in spending time helping out with projects in Central America, as it is my favourite part of the world. I can't wait to reach out to Workaway hosts and start this next chapter in my life!

This is a wonderful place for rescued cats. The kitties all have ample indoor and outdoor space, with a plethora of beds, sofas and cardboard boxes to choose from to rest, and they are looked after so carefully by Anita. Kathy was very good and gentle with the cats the sanctuary. They really responded to her kind and loving manner in dealing with them. The chores were done efficiently and provided a very big help in the daily routine. We felt very comfortable having her and would welcome her back any time.
