Description
We run a small non profit with a homeschooling community project in EL Zonte, El Salvador. We are looking for a SCIENCE , ENGLISH and SOCIAL STUDIES tutor/teacher. Native english speaker. Mid Sept to Mid December
We provide curriculum and guidelines. 3 days/ 13 hour.
Our nonprofit American public charity. It was founded in 2013 with the objective of enriching communities in identity and culture, in the coastal area of El Salvador, through education and art projects.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
El Zonte is a small beach village in El Salvador, which is known for its vibrant surfing scene, perfect waves almost all year round, and its lovely people. The village itself has some friendly small hostels, restaurants, and bars. ... Not to forget: El Zonte is a perfect spot for beginners and advanced surfers. El Salvador is very small country and easy to travel around and get to know a lot of beautiful places.

Help
We are a salvadoran - US family and we run a small NGO that promotes arts and education in our community in El Zonte, El Salvador. Through out the year, we provide ESL (english as a second language) to local children and art workshops.
We also run a homeschooling project and we are looking for someone who loves to teach science and social social ( 6th-8th grade level) we provide curriculum.
We provide a private bedroom and bathroom (There are 2 rooms in the school)

Volunteers must provide their own food during their stay
There are fruit and veggie trucks that comes by regularly and parents are happy to help get volunteers to the grocery store and nearby town when needed.
There is a bus that comes and goes regularly to the nearby town of La Libertad for shopping
We are also happy to have you at our table here and there!!
