Description
Hi, I’m Kaat.
I feel most at home outdoors: hiking, backpacking, and spending time in the mountains or by the sea. I’ve studied photography and I’m always chasing golden hour, bold colors, and those perfect compositions before my lens.
Creativity is a big part of my life. I love graphic and interior design, especially mid-century furniture with a soft spot for lamps and designer chairs :). My favorite colors are cobalt blue and orange: bold, warm, and a little nostalgic.
I’m also very hands-on and love a good creative project: murals, decorating spaces, painting, woodworking, drawing… anything creative really. I don’t always have the technical knowledge, but I like figuring things out as I go. It usually works out in the end :)
When I’m not creating or outdoors, you’ll probably find me in a cozy café with a good coffee, surrounded by music, or working on a scrapbook. I love animals, especially dogs and cats, and I could listen to music for hours: Lorde, The Lumineers, Noah Kahan, Rosalía, and Bad Bunny are often on repeat.
I’m also part of a youth movement, which has been a meaningful part of my life for years. I took a gap year to travel through Costa Rica, Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, backpacking and volunteering along the way.

More details about your skills
I studied architecture in high school, where I learned how to work with digital plans, design compositions, and build models. It was also a period where I discovered my perseverance and motivation, especially when working on creative projects. Drawing and painting were always my favorite parts.
I also studied photography for a year, which deepened my interest in visual storytelling, composition, and working with light.
I love creative projects in general—anything from hands-on making to visual design. I usually go with the flow, figure things out as I go, and enjoy the process of learning while doing.
I’ve had several experiences in hospitality and student jobs, which taught me how to work efficiently in busy environments and how to interact with different types of people.
For the past year, I’ve been working in an outdoor store specialized in technical gear like backpacks, sleeping bags, rain jackets, and hiking boots. I help customers find the right equipment and give advice about the products, which combines my interest in the outdoors with practical, people-focused work.
