Hey!
I'm Julia, 28, from Germany.

After many years of studying, I have recently finally become a special needs teacher. After this time, I long for adventures and a simple lifestyle, to discover the world, peace and time for myself to recharge, and consciously meet other people along the way :) I love meeting people while discovering new places and to discover them together :)

Being in nature and around the people I love, makes me happy the most and gives me a feeling of lightness, connectedness and freedom. As a scout, I have experienced nature in community with others since childhood, especially while hiking and camping. Passing on my love of nature to children and young people in scouting or as a teacher motivates and inspires me.

I find joy in the little things in everyday life:
Colours in the sky, the smell of the forest...Singing around the campfire with friends :)
Time with family, friends, my dog. Cooking and eating together. Outdoor activities, such as hiking, skiing or kayaking.
Art – especially painting and writing. I love creative projects and enjoy learning new things – e.g. playing the guitar, languages, crafts.

I am a calm, open-minded person and adapt well to new environments.
I enjoy working outdoors and don't mind getting my hands dirty :)

I have lots of experience in working with children and young people, as I am a scout leader and teacher.
Through my work as a teacher, I am also used to communicating with deaf people; I speak a little German Sign Language and am trying to learn more.
Being a scout, I am used to organize group activities, outdoor games, camps .... and to cook for many people :)

I have experience with manual tasks: painting the house, gardening, building a pizza oven...
I always enjoy opportunities to be creative, e.g. with landscape paintings on walls.
Farm work: gardening, animal care, repairing a fence..
I am always willing to learn new skills.

I love cooking and baking, especially for and with others.

I am fluent in German and English and speak a bit of Spanish.
