Description
Hi! We are Alice and Julia, two adventurous and sociable friends who love discovering new places, cultures and ways of living. We are both passionate about animals—especially horses—as we already work with them regularly in our home country. Spending time in nature is what makes us feel happiest, whether it’s hiking, exploring, or simply enjoying the outdoors.
We decided to join Workaway because we believe traveling is not only about seeing new places, but also about creating connections, sharing experiences, and learning new skills. We would love to take part in projects with animals, outdoor activities, or anything that allows us to contribute and learn along the way.
Both of us speak English fluently, so communication will be easy. We are curious, motivated, and always ready to help with a smile. Workaway feels like the perfect opportunity to combine adventure, cultural exchange, and our love for animals and nature.🍄🌸😃

We both have strong experience working with animals, especially horses, as we are regularly involved in horse care and riding in our home country. This has taught us responsibility, patience, and how to adapt to different situations. We are comfortable with daily tasks such as feeding, grooming, cleaning, and spending time with animals to make sure they feel well.
We are also very comfortable with people. Through our experience, we have worked with clients of all ages—children, adults, and elderly people—which has given us good communication skills, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different needs. We enjoy meeting new people, sharing experiences, and working in a team with a positive attitude.
We also enjoy sports and outdoor activities, which makes us energetic and not afraid of physical work. We are used to helping with practical tasks, whether it’s taking care of animals, doing some gardening, cooking simple meals, or keeping a place tidy.
Languages are also one of our strengths: we are both fluent in English and French, so we can easily communicate and could even help others practice these languages if needed.
Most of all, we are curious and quick learners. We are motivated to share our energy, learn new skills, and give a hand wherever it is needed.
