Hi, I am Jocelyn and I'm from China.
I've explored Sri Lanka, Egypt, Japan, Malaysia and traveled to many cities across China. During the pandemic period, I spent two months on the road to Tibet with my mom, living out of an SUV. I guess that's the most crazy and unforgettable journey in my life.
Being around animals and nature feels like home to me since I spent many childhood summers on my grandparents' farm. .My mom has two dogs who are super cute but sometimes naughty, whenever I'm home, I'm the one walking them, bathing them, cleaning their eyes, and brushing their fur, so I have plenty of patience and experience when it comes to caring for animals.
I also care about nature and our Mother Earth, I once spent two months in Sri Lanka volunteering with AIESEC, exploring rainforests and wetlands on an ecological research project with volunteers from around the world.
Currently I am exploring Canada with my tiny vehicle and I decided to spend about 1 year to travel around because I believe it's the best way to know this beautiful country.
I depart from Manitoba, where I worked as an accountant in the past year, so everyday English communication is no problem for me at all, but honestly, my spoken English still has a way to go before reaching a native speaker's level. That said, I study hard every day, and none of that dims my curiosity to explore the world.

Practical skills: I can cook, I'm comfortable in the kitchen, and I enjoy learning new recipes. I'm willing and able to help with cleaning, gardening, basic household tasks, and looking after animals. I'm a fast learner with anything hands-on.
Languages: Native Mandarin, conversational English (Still learning).
