More details about your skills
Eco Project Support:
Leveraging my background in environmental science and sustainability I'm well-equipped to assist with eco projects. Being a part of implementing any eco projects would be a dream come true.
Teaching and Sharing Knowledge:
Drawing from my role as a Student Event Manager, I've developed strong communication and presentation skills, making me adept at teaching and sharing knowledge, whether it's leading workshops on sustainable practices or explaining concepts to fellow volunteers.
Gardening Enthusiast:
Previously, I’ve gained hands-on experience in garden maintenance with my family. I would be eager to contribute to gardening projects during my Workaway experience.
DIY and Building Projects:
Once again, helping my family has made me capable of handling DIY tasks and minimal building projects. I would be more than excited to further these skills whilst assisting with repairs and renovations as needed.
Animal Care and Farm Assistance:
I love all animals and would love to help take care of yours! I am particularly interested in learning how to ride and take care of horses.
Family Meal Preparation:
Having lived independently for multiple years I’m skilled at meal preparation. On multiple occasions at university, I have cooked meals for over 20 people at once as part of my time in the Rambling and Hiking Society.
Household Help and Maintenance:
From living in a variety of university houses, I’m skilled in general household tasks including cleaning and maintenance and would be happy to help with these in any way I can.
Tech and Internet Assistance:
Through designing a sustainability app and conducting digital presentations at my previous place of work, I've developed proficiency in tech and internet use, ready to assist with computer-related tasks during my Workaway placement.
Adaptable and Resourceful:
Living and studying abroad in Malaysia showcased my adaptability and resourcefulness, skills that will prove invaluable in navigating new environments and challenges during Workaway experiences.
Adventurous Spirit and Positive Attitude:
I'm always eager to try new experiences and contribute positively to any project, embracing the excitement of learning and discovery. I bring a can-do attitude and a willingness to dive into tasks with enthusiasm, making the most out of every opportunity.Age
