Description
We are Isabeau (29) and Alba (3,5). We live near Isle Jourdain (32 Gers), 40 minutes from Toulouse. Accessible by bus.
Help welcome at the moment:
- Help in the kitchen by cooking one meal a day using vegetables, beans, and grains + help with washing up and tidying.
- Help in the garden: weeding, building a fence around the pond, creating raised beds for permaculture, mowing the lawn, building a wooden deck. This is fairly physical help.
- Help around the house: we have walls to paint and paneling to install.
Careful here : We live a simple life. We eat fresh, unprocessed foods. We heat the house to 16°C/61°F in winter and keep warm with wool sweaters, slippers, and hot water bottles at night. We have a fire place.
You like:
- living in the countryside, enjoying the sun and the birds, the mud and the grass.
- playing and taking care of a 3,5 years old child
- cooking vegetables from the garden or the market, making your favorite recipes
- having time with our family, and time for yourself in autonomy
- learn to do crafts, and to garden
- having a chat over a cup of tea

- if you're afraid of bugs
To know Isabeau better:
I am a cheerful and positive person. I love nature, the forest, walks. And at the same time, I love developing my business in wellness (I work on the computer from home).
I am hypersensitive, and to recharge, I need to have quiet time, for myself, listening to music, painting, or doing yoga.
I love taking care of Alba, playing with her, helping her discover new things every day, helping her learn.
I am passionate about diving, dancing. I have traveled and volunteered in Colombia, Peru, Indonesia, Malaysia and Kyrgyzstan. I speak English and Spanish.
To get to know Alba better:
I am a child with lots of energy. I speak very well for my age. I am learning to live my emotions. I love playing with people, I give them lots of smiles, and sometimes hugs. I go to the nursery every days except on weekends.
The house:
On the ground floor, there is the living room/kitchen, bathroom, and an office. Upstairs, there are 4 bedrooms and a toilet. The garden is large, and the view is beautiful on the countryside.
We are 40 minutes from Toulouse, and 10 minutes by car from all amenities (markets, parks, supermarket, pharmacy ...).
We are at 1 km from a pretty little village, crossed by a river, with many hiking trails, and a beautiful church. There are the beautiful cities of the Gers (Samatan, l'Ilse Jourdain, ...) at 10 minutes by car.
