I have been exploring the northern part of Sardinia and would like to spent the second half of April in the southern part. Looking for opportunities for any kind of work related to plants.
Description
Hello,
my name is Henrike and my passion is language, that is, both in sense of the tool we communicate with and in the sense of nature communicating with us. To satisfy the former, I work (online) as a freelance translator, which allows me to live like a bit of a digital nomad. Regarding the latter, my focus is one the plant kingdom (or queendom:) and on understanding how it nourishes and connects us.
I like combining the two with travelling and getting to know people's ways of relating to plants when helping them in their gardens or pieces of land and preparing foods or "products" from what nature has to offer. Currently, I am interested in an opportunity to support a host or community in Sardinia and to, hopefully, improve my Italian skills.
As I have a good hand with plants, my first choice would be to work in this area. But I have many talents and interests and am open for different kinds of tasks.
Reliability and kindness are important to me and I consider myself a sociable, structured, and easygoing person.

I like working with plants and turning them into food and remendies, with natural medicine being one of my hobbies that I seek to expand on when spending less time in my technical translation job.
As a trained linguist, I communicate well with people, kids and animals and understand a few languages. Beside my flluency in German and English, I can get by in French, Spanish and Italian.
